Picasso’s work is usually characterized into periods and some of the commonly accepted periods in his work include the ‘Blue Period’, the ‘Rose Period’, the ‘African influenced period’, ‘Analytic Cubism’ and ‘Synthetic Cubism’. There are numerous museums across the world featuring some of the greatest works of Picasso. The ‘Museum of Modern Art’ in New York City successfully exhibited the scope of Picasso’s artistry in America.
